Introduction to Wikidata
Wikidata is a multilingual, collaboratively edited, cross-domain knowledge base hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation. It is intended to provide a common source of open structured data which can be used by Wikimedia projects such as Wikipedia, and by anyone else, under a public domain license. Wikidata forms part of the linked open data cloud with 53 million pages (called items), and an average of around 35,000 editors per month.
